FAQs

For the health and safety of all pets in our care, we require dogs to be current on Rabies and DAPP/DHPP vaccinations before receiving grooming services.

As a Colorado PACFA-licensed grooming facility, we are required to follow state regulations regarding animal health and recordkeeping. Keeping current vaccination records on file also helps us provide a safer environment for your dog, our other clients, and our team.

Vaccination records must include the vaccine name and expiration date and must be provided prior to your appointment. If you are unsure whether your records meet our requirements, feel free to send them to us and we’ll be happy to take a look!

All new clients must first complete our New Client Intake Form.

This includes your contact information, information about your pup, a signed service agreement, a card on file, and proof of current Rabies and DAPP/DHPP vaccinations.

Once your intake form and required records have been received, our team can help you find an appointment that works for you and your pup.

Online appointments are submitted as requests rather than automatically confirmed appointments.

Our team reviews each request to make sure we have the correct amount of time scheduled, an appropriate groomer available, your pup's required vaccination records on file, and any special accommodations your dog may need.

Once we review your request, we’ll reach out to confirm the appointment or offer another available time if necessary.

Your appointment is not officially booked until you receive confirmation from our team.

There’s a lot more that goes into a grooming appointment than just the haircut!

A full groom may include bathing, conditioning, drying, brushing and combing, nail trimming and grinding, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and your pup's haircut and finishing touches. We also work with multiple dogs throughout the day and build in time for each pup to get a break throughout their time in the salon.

Most appointments take approximately 3–4 hours, although timing can vary depending on your dog's size, coat type and condition, behavior, requested services, and how comfortable they are with the grooming process.

We never want to rush a dog through their appointment simply to meet a specific time. Our priority is providing a safe, comfortable experience and a quality groom.

No, we ask that you arrive as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible. Our schedule, kennel availability, and staffing are planned around each dog’s appointment time, so we may not always be able to accommodate an early drop-off.

If you need to drop your pup off early, please contact us ahead of time. We’ll be happy to let you know whether we can accommodate an earlier arrival that day.

Grooming prices vary based on your dog's breed, size, coat type, coat condition, behavior, and services requested.

We are happy to provide an estimated starting price before scheduling. Final pricing may vary if additional time, brushing, de-matting, de-shedding, or other services are needed.

Please feel free to reach out with your pup's breed, approximate weight, and the services you're interested in, and we'll be happy to provide a quote.

Our Bath & Haircut service includes the full spa treatment! Your pup receives:

  • Bath with moisturizing conditioner
  • Blueberry facial
  • Full haircut

  • Nail trim and grind
  • Ear cleaning

Additional treatments and add-ons may be available depending on your pup's needs. Our services are all-inclusive, so the price does not change if one or more included services are not needed or performed.

A Bath & Brush is perfect for dogs who don't need an all-over haircut. It includes a bath, moisturizing conditioner, blueberry facial, brushing, nail trim and grind, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and finishing cologne spritz.

A Bath & Haircut includes all of those services plus a full haircut.

If your pup only needs light trimming around areas such as the face, feet, or sanitary area, let us know! We can help you determine which service would be the best fit.

Your dog's comfort and safety will always come first.

Small amounts of tangling or matting may be brushed out when it can be done safely and comfortably. Additional brushing or de-matting fees may apply depending on the amount of extra time required.

For significant or tight matting, we do not perform extensive full-body de-matting, as this can be painful and stressful for your dog. In these situations, a shorter haircut may be the safest and most humane option.

Your groomer will discuss any significant coat concerns with you and recommend the best option for your pup.

Yes, depending on your dog's individual needs and what we can safely accommodate.

Every dog is different, and we're happy to discuss previous grooming experiences, anxiety, medical concerns, behavioral needs, or anything else that may help us make your pup more comfortable.

Depending on the dog, we may recommend a quieter appointment time, an Express appointment, additional handling accommodations, or veterinary support. If at any point we feel continuing a service would be unsafe or overly stressful for your dog, we may modify or stop the groom.

Our goal is always to prioritize your pup's physical and emotional well-being over completing a particular haircut.

We’ll send you a message when your pup is nearly ready or ready for pickup. We ask that dogs be picked up within one hour of their ready notification, unless other arrangements have been made with us ahead of time.

Timely pickup helps us maintain adequate kennel space and a calm, comfortable environment for all of the dogs in our care.

Pets are expected to be picked up within one hour of receiving our notification. After that time, a $10 fee will apply for every additional 15-minute increment unless prior arrangements have been made.

All pets must also be picked up by closing time unless prior arrangements have been made. A 10-minute grace period is allowed with notice. After that, a $20 late fee will apply. If a pet remains at the salon for more than one hour past closing, an additional $50 late fee will be added.

Because we reserve dedicated time in our schedule for each pet, we ask that clients provide at least 48 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.

For cancellations and rescheduling:

  • 24–48 hours’ notice: 30% of the scheduled service will be charged to the card on file.
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the scheduled service will be charged.
  • Same-day cancellations: Treated as a no-show and are subject to the full cost of the scheduled service.
  • No-shows: Clients who fail to arrive for their scheduled appointment without notice may be charged the full cost of the scheduled service.
  • Repeated short-notice cancellations or no-shows may result in full charges and/or refusal of future services.

We also ask that all clients arrive on time for their scheduled appointment. A 15-minute grace period is offered with advance notice. After 15 minutes, we may need to reschedule your appointment and a rescheduling fee of 30–50% of the scheduled service may apply. If we are still able to groom your pet that day, a $15 late-arrival fee will apply.

We understand that unexpected situations can happen, and exceptions may be made for inclement weather, family emergencies, or other unavoidable circumstances at the groomer’s discretion.
